Mark Cuban Meets With House GOP on Health Care Costs, PBMs

House Budget Republicans met with “Shark Tank” mogul Mark Cuban Tuesday, where members say they discussed high health costs and possibilities for addressing them.

“The focus was on the cost of care and how it’s just unsustainable, unsustainable for small businesses and working families,” said Rep. Jodey Arrington (R-Texas), chair of the committee. Arrington said Cuban, who runs the mail order Mark Cuban Plus Drug Co., highlighted a “breakdown in, as he would say, healthy market forces” and “some perverse incentive that we’ve created intentionally or unintentionally.”
