Kurin Says Blood Test Competitor Falsely Claims FDA Approval

A California blood test device maker claims a competing company is unlawfully advertising its product has the FDA’s blessing.

Magnolia Medical Technologies has made statements indicating the Food and Drug Administration approved its Steripath blood sample collection device, Kurin Inc. alleges in a lawsuit filed in a federal court in California. Magnolia also wrongly indicates the product’s safety and efficacy has been evaluated by the agency, Kurin alleges.
