J&J Unit, Plaintiffs Settle Tylenol Liver Injury Cases

Johnson & Johnson and its McNeil unit have agreed to a confidential settlement with individuals alleging Tylenol caused liver damage, according to Feb. 10 filings (In re Tylenol (Acetaminophen) Mktg., Sales Prac. & Prod. Liab. Litig., E.D. Pa., No. 13-2436, motion filed 2/10/17).

Plaintiffs nationally alleged that use of Tylenol at or just above the recommended dose could cause liver injury and, in some instances, death.
