J&J Reaches Pact With US For Tariff Relief, Drug Discounts

Johnson & Johnson reached a voluntary agreement with the US government to expand access to medicines, lower costs and secure tariff exemptions for its pharmaceutical products, the company said in a statement.

  • Co. agreed to provide Medicaid access to medicines at comparable international prices
  • As part of the previously announced $55 billion investment, J&J is announcing two new US manufacturing facilities
    • Including a next generation cell therapy manufacturing site in Pennsylvania and a state-of-the-art drug product manufacturing facility in North Carolina
