HHS Sued for Approving Georgia’s Obamacare Exchange Exit Plan

The Trump administration unlawfully approved Georgia’s plan to stop using a federally funded Obamacare exchange and force residents to shop for health insurance through private companies, brokers, and agents, a complaint filed Thursday in Washington federal court says.

The “Georgia Access Model essentially returns the health insurance shopping experience for Georgia consumers to how it stood before” the Affordable Care Act was enacted, Planned Parenthood Southeast Inc. and Feminist Women’s Health Center told the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
