The Department of Health and Human Services awarded nearly $25 million to improve access to school-based health services, according to the department Tuesday.
The awards will support 125 health centers funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration. The centers deliver primary health-care services, including comprehensive physical and mental health care, to individuals and families through school-based sites, according to the department.
