Lawyers Seek Access to Insurance Claim Denials in Court

A recent class action win in a federal court in California is encouraging attorneys to use litigation to get access to insurance providers’ internal documents about coverage denials. They are hoping they can get relief for patients whose claims were wrongfully denied if they can analyze the reasoning insurers used to reject the payments.
