The Generic Pharmaceutical Association (GPhA) Sept. 14 announced that it has joined the Partnership for Safe Medicines (PSM) to help ensure a secure, global prescription drug supply chain and protect patients against counterfeit medications.
“GPhA and its member companies are committed to medicines of the highest quality, safety and effectiveness,” GPhA said in a statement. “We are pleased to add our voice to those of PSM members working to inform consumers, healthcare professionals and policymakers about the dangers of counterfeit medicines.”
