A court ordered an Ontario-based pharmaceutical company’s former manufacturing partner April 28 to return its trade secret materials.
The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas granted GlycoBioSciences Inc.'s request for a seizure order. It found that such an order is within its powers to protect trade secrets under Texas’ version of the Uniform Trade Secrets Act (GlycoBioSciences Inc. v. Woodfield Pharm., LLC, 2016 BL 135054, S.D. Tex., CIVIL ACTION NO. 4:15-CV-02109, order granted 4/27/16).
