The Trump administration has “fanned the flames” of uncertainty and anxiety around the use of science, diminishing the role of evidence in developing policies to solve pressing problems, an Obama-era FDA chief said.
“This is a critical time to make sure that we are using the best possible science to make decisions in whatever arena work is being done,” Margaret A. Hamburg told Bloomberg Law following her keynote address at the American Association for the Advancement of Science annual meeting.
