FDA Warns New Jersey, Oklahoma Pharmacies About Violations

Compounding pharmacies in New Jersey and Oklahoma are the latest to hear from the FDA about drug production violations.

The Food and Drug Administration said in separate warning letters posted online June 21 that inspectors found deficiencies in how the pharmacies are producing sterile drugs, making them appear to be producing drugs that violate the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDCA).

The FDA has sent more than 25 warning letters to drug compounders in 2016 citing similar violations.
