Drugmakers will soon have to disclose the list price of their products in ads if the Food and Drug Administration gets its way.
Alex Azar, secretary of health and human services, said FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb will be prioritizing drug marketing in the coming weeks. “Why not have drug companies disclose their prices in ads?” Azar asked a crowd of administration officials and journalists at President Donald Trump’s drug pricing speech May 11.
