FDA Dashboard Provides Inspection, Recall Data on Drug, Device Makers

The FDA has released a data dashboard that provides insight into the agency’s compliance, inspection, and recall activities.

The dashboard includes data related to inspections of drug manufacturing facilities and medical device manufacturing sites. Information related to food safety and tobacco inspections is also included.

An Oct. 2 Food and Drug Administration blog post announced the data dashboard. The “FDA Voice” blog post said that the data dashboard allows users to access data on inspections; warning letters; seizures and injunctions; and recall statistics.
