FDA Approves Generic Vanos Cream; Authorized Generic of Lanoxin Launched

The Food and Drug Administration recently approved a generic version of Vanos Cream, according to Perrigo Co.

In other generic drug news, Heritage Pharmaceuticals Inc. launched a generic version of the former branded drug Compazine and Par Pharmaceutical Cos. has entered into an agreement with Covis Pharma S.a.r.l. to distribute an authorized generic version of Covis’s Lanoxin.

Perrigo Jan. 14 announced that the FDA approved its generic version of Medicis Pharmaceutical Corp.'s Vanos Cream 0.1 percent (fluocinonide cream 0.1 percent).
