Eucerin Lotion Maker Defeats ‘Natural’ Ingredient Deception Suit

Beiersdorf Inc. convinced a federal judge to toss a proposed class action alleging it misled consumers into thinking its Eucerin repair lotions contained natural ingredients when it used synthetically manufactured versions of skincare ingredients.

The complaint misconstrues how the word “natural” is used on the label, the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois said Feb 6.
