A federal district court in West Virginia Jan. 29 dismissed employer health benefits funds’ unjust enrichment and implied warranty of merchantability claims against drugmakers Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. and Sanofi over the marketing of the anticoagulant drug Plavix (clopidogrel bisulfate) (Employer Teamsters-Local Nos. 175/505 Health and Welfare Trust Fund v. Bristol Myers Squibb Co., S.D. W.Va., 3:12-cv-00587, 1/29/13).
