Mylan Inc. Feb. 15 announced that it plans to change the name of its fully integrated branded specialty pharmaceutical business from Dey Pharma to Mylan Specialty.
Dey Pharma is conducting business as Mylan Specialty immediately; however, Dey Pharma LP will continue to be used as the legal name until all required transition steps are completed, the company said. Mylan, which is based in Pittsburgh, acquired Dey Pharma in 2007 (5 PLIR 524, 5/18/07).
