Democrats are already lining up to critique the Trump administration’s proposed plan to mirror Medicare drug bills with what foreign countries pay.
Shortly after the president’s announcement Oct. 25, Democrats released a firestorm of statements opposing the plan, calling it a “dog and pony show” attempting to sway voters as the midterms approach. Critics included Sens. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.); Senate Finance Committee Ranking Member Ron Wyden (D-Ore.); Ways & Means Committee Ranking Member Rep. Richard Neal (D-Mass.); and Energy and Commerce Ranking Member Frank Pallone Jr. (D-N.J).
