Dan Best, the senior adviser for drug pricing reform and President Trump’s so-called “drug czar,” has died, HHS said in a statement Nov. 1.
“I had the great privilege to know Dan Best for the past decade,” HHS Secretary Alex Azar said in a statement. “He joined me here at HHS out of a desire to serve the American people by making health care more affordable. He brought his deep expertise and passion to this task with great humility and collegiality.”
