Congress Wants More People Growing Pot for Cannabis Research

The University of Mississippi’s place as the prime pot producer for the U.S. research community could tumble if lawmakers can reach a consensus on expanding research opportunities for cannabis.

The House Energy and Commerce health subcommittee held its first cannabis hearing ever on Wednesday about marijuana and how it’s utilized for medical purposes.
