CMS Proposes Hospital Payment Rule to Cut Cost, Add Transparency

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a proposed rule to update Medicare payment policies for hospital outpatient and Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) services to modernize payments and enhance hospital accountability.
