The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) May 5 announced the winners of awards recognizing highly innovative companies in the biotech sector.
The 2014 BIO International Convention Buzz of BIO contest was held in anticipation of the convention in San Diego the week of June 23. More than 40 companies participated in this year’s competition, and more than 8,000 votes were tallied.
Due to the number of votes, which is higher than ever before in this contest, two winners were recognized from each of the two categories:
- Technologies of Tomorrow. Winners: BNOAT Oncology Inc. (Akron, Ohio) and HNu-nanoPOINT (Kahului, Hawaii).
