The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued the order, which took effect in April 2022, to implement Covid-19 policies announced by the Biden administration in October 2021. It requires all noncitizens entering the US via air travel to either be fully vaccinated with an accepted Covid-19 vaccine or self-quarantine after travel.
The measure would overturn the order and prevent the CDC from imposing a successor vaccination requirement for foreign travelers.
