A federal order requiring foreign travelers to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination to enter the US would end under H.R. 185 as passed by the House.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued the order, which took effect in April 2022, to implement Covid-19 policies announced by the Biden administration in October 2021. It requires all noncitizens entering the US via air travel to either be fully vaccinated with an accepted Covid-19 vaccine or self-quarantine after travel.

The measure would overturn the order and prevent the CDC from imposing a successor vaccination requirement for foreign travelers.
