The Food and Drug Administration recently approved Aurobindo Pharma Ltd.'s generic versions of the hypertension drug Accupril and the antibiotic Duricef.
On April 30, Aurobindo Pharma announced that FDA has approved its generic version of Pfizer Inc.'s Accupril (quinapril) 5 milligram, 10 mg, 20 mg, and 40 mg tablets.
Accupril had total U.S. sales of approximately $49 million for the 12 months ended September 2012, according to IMS Health data.

On April 26, Aurobindo said FDA has approved its generic version of Warner Chilcott’s Duricef (cefadroxil for oral suspension) 250 mg/5 milliliter and 500 mg/5 mL.
