An Arizona Planned Parenthood affiliate wants the state’s top court to ensure that no one is prosecuted under an 1864 abortion law before its repeal goes into effect later this year.
The Arizona Supreme Court’s April 9 decision upholding the law will become final when the mandate is issued, meaning that abortion will be illegal in Arizona as of that date.
