Apex Global Solutions Sheds Class Action Suit Over Data Breach

Financial-services firm Apex Global Solutions LLC no longer faces allegations it failed to protect the personal information of thousands of clients, employees, and patients exposed in a 2024 breach, according to a filing in federal court.

Five plaintiffs told the US District Court for the Southern District of New York they were voluntarily dismissing their class action lawsuit without prejudice Tuesday. The breach may have included birthdays, Social Security numbers, health data, and financial information, according to the complaint.
