Another plaintiffs’ expert was barred from testifying that Pfizer Inc.'s cholesterol drug caused diabetes in two women pursuing suits in consolidated litigation (In re Lipitor (Atorvastatin Calcium) Mktg., Sales Prac. & Prod. Liab. Litig. (Daniels v. Pfizer Inc.), D.S.C., 14-02502, 5/11/16).
This was the final expert evidence ruling by the trial judge in the federal Lipitor litigation.
“Plaintiffs disagree with the Court’s rulings and are considering all available options,” lead plaintiffs’ attorney H. Blair Hahn told Bloomberg BNA May 12.
