AbbVie Inc. failed to prevent a medical expert from relying on adverse event reports in an ongoing test trial over whether testosterone replacement products cause heart attacks and strokes (Testosterone Replacement Therapy Prods. Liab. Litig., In re, 2017 BL 237907, N.D. Ill., 14 C 1748, 7/11/17).
Manufacturer AbbVie contended that Dr. Hossein Ardehali should not use the the data in plaintiff Jesse Mitchell’s bellwether trial, which began July 5 in the Northern District of Illinois.
