A Coronavirus Vaccine Could Be Shot in Arm Flu Fight Needs

With no vaccines to protect against coronaviruses, some patients are seeking out a flu shot instead. That won’t work against the one causing Covid-19, but a top public health leader hopes the outbreak will boost flagging flu vaccine rates in the U.S.

Less than half of U.S. adults got an annual flu shot, but the coronavirus hitting during peak influenza season could force many of them to reconsider going forward, health experts said.
