10X Loses Patent Case Brought by Bio-Rad at Trade Commission

10X Genomics Inc. suffered a setback in its fight with rival Bio-Rad Laboratories Inc. over devices used to conduct genetic tests.

The U.S. International Trade Commission, responding to Bio-Rad’s request that certain 10X products be banned from the U.S. market, granted a limited exclusion order, according to a notice posted Wednesday. The commission said researchers can “continue their work in ongoing research projects using the infringing microfluidic devices.”
