Oklahoma Proposes PFAS Waste Cleanup Standards: State Tracker

Newly introduced legislation in Oklahoma seeks to regulate the state’s storage and disposal of PFAS waste.

The “Oklahoma PFAS Waste Act,” introduced Thursday, also would establish that the original producers of PFAS waste are liable for proper disposal or cleanup in the event of a spill or leak. It’s one of the first proposals to address PFAS at the state level in Oklahoma.

Elsewhere, a proposed bill in Indiana would establish a PFAS blood testing program for veterans, military members, and other civilian personnel on military bases in the state. The program would be organized...
