The man who shouted at Paul Weiss head Brad Karp at a bar association event last week isn’t the heckling type, he insists.
“It was spontaneous,” Dunnington Bartholow & Miller partner Raymond Dowd told me, outing himself as The Paul Weiss Heckler.
A bow tie-wearing civil litigator who authored Thomson Reuters’ “Copyright Litigation Handbook,” Dowd was attending the New York Bar Foundation gala on Nov. 7 when Karp gave remarks about Paul Weiss’ pro-bono work.
While Karp touted Paul Weiss’ increase in such work, Dowd repeatedly shouted, “For Trump?”
