Clayton’s Focus: ‘Crimes With Guns’
Manhattan US Attorney Jay Clayton said he’s focused on street crimes like gun violence and drugs despite his office’s reputation as Wall Street’s sheriff.
“For me, it’s what would New Yorkers want to see, as you walk the streets, ride the subway, take your kids to school,” Clayton said Tuesday at a New York City Bar Association event on international white-collar crime. “How would they want us to spend our time?”
