The unemployment rate for recent college graduates in the US remained high in the first three months of 2026, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Unemployment for Americans between the ages of 22 and 27 with bachelor’s degrees was 5.6% as of March, unchanged from December, according to New York Fed data published Tuesday. Unemployment for those without four-year degrees in that age group fell to 7.2% from 7.7%.
