Winner’s Corner: State Budget Edition
New York legislators passed a $268 billion budget in Thursday’s wee hours, some two months after its April deadline, and weeks after Gov. Kathy Hochul announced a “general agreement” on the spending plan.
It ended well for some (trial lawyers not among them). Here are the winners of the long-debated budget:
