Manhattan federal prosecutor Allison Rovner said the Epstein files are coming soon, but the Justice Department wants to punt on a Freedom of Information Act request for such documents.
Rovner told the Second Circuit on Wednesday that a “substantial release” of documents is likely “to happen in the near term,” giving a glimpse into the department’s progress in reviewing files related to Jeffrey Epstein ahead of the Trump administration’s legally mandated disclosures.
