That’s what former New York Times opinion editor James Bennet described as he took the witness stand Thursday in Sarah Palin’s libel retrial against the paper.
Bennet edited the piece “America’s Lethal Politics,” which initially suggested a link between a Palin PAC’s rhetoric and the shooting of then-Rep. Gabby Giffords.
