NYC’s Congestion Toll Pulls in $468 Million Through October

New York City’s congestion pricing toll brought in $467.9 million of net revenue in the first ten months of the program, the first of its kind in the US, as motorists now pay to enter Manhattan’s busiest streets.

  • Most passenger cars pay $9 during peak hours to drive south of 60th Street. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority, which runs the city’s transit system, implemented the toll on Jan. 5.
