NYC Mayor Denies He’s Been Offered Job in Trump Administration

New York City Mayor Eric Adams, struggling in his bid for reelection, denied that he received an offer from the Trump Administration to work at the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.

“Although Mayor Adams has been the most pro-housing mayor in New York City’s history, at no time did he ask for— nor was he offered— a job at HUD,” according to a statement from Todd Shapiro, a spokesman for Adams’ campaign.
