The Manhattan restaurant Kiki’s has been seized by New York state for nonpayment of more than $1 million in taxes, disrupting the dining scene in a buzzy part of the city.
The taxes are owed by the restaurant and its owner, Pavlos Sierros, according to a state tax warrant search. Kiki’s was seized on Tuesday, Sierros confirmed over text.
