New York Lt. Gov. Antonio Delgado announced Tuesday that he is suspending his primary campaign against Gov. Kathy Hochul.
Delgado, who was running to the left of Hochul (D) on a platform that included raising taxes on high-earners, said he had concluded there was “no viable path forward” in a statement posted on X. Delgado had failed to clear the 25% vote threshold at the state Democratic convention on Feb. 6 needed to get on the ballot for the June 23 primary.
