NY Judges Weigh ‘Integrity’ of Fiscal Intermediary Bidding

New York appellate judges on Tuesday seemed skeptical of claims that the state health department’s process for switching to a single fiscal intermediary to manage home care services throughout the state was rigged.

But some of the evidence presented by fiscal intermediary Freedom Care LLC seems like it’s based off of rumors, noted Associate Justice Bahaati Pitt-Burke of the Supreme Court First Appellate Department, asking if the firm has evidence that’s “a little less speculative.”
