NJ Transit’s Kolluri Stays With Sherrill, Adds Turnpike Role (1)

New Jersey Transit’s Chief Executive Officer Kris Kolluri will keep his role under the state’s soon-to-be Governor Mikie Sherrill, while poised to take on a second position overseeing two of the state’s major toll roads.

The dual role will require Kolluri to oversee day-to-day operations of both agencies to improve commutes across New Jersey, according to a statement from the governor-elect’s office. He will take a $1 salary from the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, which oversees the Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway.
