Harvey Weinstein may know what to expect from two of the women set to testify against him.
But he could hear as soon as this week from a third accuser who didn’t testify at his 2020 trial—adding a wrinkle to a retrial that may otherwise track the prior proceeding.
“The defense will have to decide in the courtroom how they’re going to cross her,” Julie Rendelman, a criminal defense attorney and former Brooklyn prosecutor, told me.
