NBA’S Rozier Pleads Not Guilty to Passing Information for Bets

Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier pleaded not guilty to charges that he conspired to provide confidential information on National Basketball Association lineups and injury lists to be used by gamblers.

Rozier, 31, entered his plea Monday through lawyers in Brooklyn, New York, federal court. He faces wire fraud conspiracy and money laundering conspiracy charges which carry a maximum prison term of 20 years in prison.

Prosecutors indicted Rozier and five others, saying they turned the NBA into a criminal betting operation.
