An attorney for Luigi Mangione and Sean “Diddy” Combs said his clients are benefiting from what he calls the Justice Department’s breaches of protocol.
“The sheen is sort of off the Justice Department,” said Marc Agnifilo at a Nov. 19 event hosted by Forbes and posted online Wednesday. “As an institution, things have changed over the last year. I’m winning things that I always thought I should win but never did.”
“There’s this notion called the presumption of regularity that the Justice Department has basically had for 200 years, and it just doesn’t have it anymore,” he added.
