Man With Gun Tackled, Arrested at Conference in Downtown NYC (1)

Police arrested a man wielding a gun at a conference at an office building near Union Square in Manhattan.

The man pointed a loaded revolver at the ceiling, saying he was going to kill himself, before being tackled by an individual at 124 East 14th Street, according to law enforcement officials. The event, Wikipedia’s WikiConference North America 2025, was being held at Civic Hall, an event space in the building.
