Luigi Mangione Said Media Turnout for Arraignment Was ‘Wild’ (1)

After Luigi Mangione was arraigned in a Pennsylvania courthouse last year, he told a police officer what he thought about the size of the media gathering in the parking lot.

Mangione, who was shackled, looked over his shoulder and said: “All these people here for a mass murderer? Wild,” the officer, Stephen Fox, said on Tuesday.

Fox recounted that moment in a New York state court, where Mangione is accused of murdering UnitedHealth Group Inc. executive Brian Thompson.
