Hochul Offers Support for Texas Lawmakers Fleeing Redistricting

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) offered support on Monday for Texas lawmakers fleeing a partisan vote on redistricting in the Lone Star state, while reiterating her support for redrawing congressional lines in her own state to favor Democrats.

“Republicans are willing to rewrite these rules to get themselves an advantage, then they’re leaving us no choice. We must do the same,” Hochul said.
