Harvey Weinstein Back in Court as Trial Looms

Diddy’s district court proceedings wrapped up on Friday when a judge handed down a sentence of roughly four years.

But across the street in Manhattan state court, Harvey Weinstein, another mogul who faced a sex crimes trial this year, has unfinished business.

Weinstein’s scheduled to return to 100 Centre on Thursday for an appearance that could lead to his fourth trial. The Miramax co-founder was convicted of sexual assault in June, but the jury was hung on a separate rape charge.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office has said it’s ready to try the rape case again.
